Hello, my name is Kylah and I'm a pattern addict...

For those who have been to my room, you know how big that chest is, I have it nearly covered with patterns, and that's not all of them!

My mother has called me a pattern fiend...well, she might be on to something, of course, she also calls me Wednesday Addams. In my defense I did not buy all of those...just most of them. But seriously, I have probably close to $1,000.00 worth of patterns and I've probably only paid full price on three or five at most. So, if you girls need to borrow a pattern...let me know. I just inventoried my patterns so I can look it up if you're looking for one, especially if it's discontinued. My Mum gave me some that are discontinued that you can't even get on the website anymore! Also, I'm missing my retro patterns...I'll have to look for those.

Anyway, what's up with you girls? I've been doing minimal sewing. I'm trying to finish a real life dress (not a costume) for a while now and I just made my first mistake on it, unfortunately I have to do some seam-ripping on fabric that is not very seam-rip friendly. It was a big mistake to make. >sigh< I was doing so well, too!

For AB'08, I'm pretty sure I'm doing Goury as "Miss La La". I'm also thinking for the ball, maybe I'll do Kyoya in that ballgown he's wearing when they guys all dress up as women. It'll fit right in with my theme. Eliza, contact me with some times that are good for you to come over and sew. Sundays are going to be the day I can spend most of the day with you. Although, you really don't need the supervision, we just need to go shopping and set you up. Send me the photos you like of Lina & I'll research what patterns you need, then we'll wait for a sale at JoAnn's. We'll shoot for a regular costume and a ball gown, how's that? Did you learn how to use your mom's sewing machine yet?

Well, this is the pattern addict signing off! I'm going to go drool over the pattern websites to look for more! And Simplicity just came out with two new Civil War patterns! I want them! One is perfect for the widow dress I want to make!
